AMC the world's largest movie theater chain may be filing for bankruptcy due to COVID-19.

Starting before the pandemic movie theater’s have been on the decline and shutting down. More people are deciding to use streaming services in order to watch the latest movies from the comfort of their homes.

The movie theater industry shutting down is a sad reality that can not be ignored any longer. AMC was already looking at bankruptcy but because of COVID- 19 it has quickened the process.

AMC has told landlords that they will stop paying rent in April and will be closed until August.

By the time August comes AMC will have run out of money to continue operation.

Imagine all of the malls that will open back up and the theater will still be closed. We are entering a tough time in the world and we should lean on the support of others, as long as you are 6 feet apart.
