Life After Lockdown

As the months go by one can only think how life at work will change…

During these unsettling times, we have relied on our family and friends to help us get through. However, the days of working from your office and not from home are approaching. Around half of the states have begun some form of opening back up.

With half the states opening back up its only a matter of time before the west coast and the rest open back up too. This is what brings me to my topic about how work-life will really look like. The short answer no one really knows what it will look like but I do have an idea for how it will look.

First, when we start to go back to our office job spacing will be mandatory but you may say my office space is too small to space everyone 6 feet apart. I do not believe it will be 6 feet apart but instead, however far they can manage to put people apart. This will be the same in schools.

Second, hand sanitizer and wipes are going to be mandatory at every office space and business. This means after every 4 hours of work your space should be wiped down and cleaned. Do I believe that is overkill yes absolutely but we have to keep people feeling safe in order to start reopening everything.

Third, do not panic we will most defiantly start to handshake again. Social distancing will be still in place but in some line of work that is absolutely impossible to even manage. Life will not go back to how it was in 2019 instead it will look like a worried or scared of something 2019.

As work does open up and we start to head back to the office remember to stay confident and not be scared of this virus because the only way to beat the virus is to not fear it but to hit it head-on.
