Families who depend on school meals for their children are finding it difficult to eat…

Baylor Collaborative on Hunger and Poverty is helping students in rural areas across America not have to worry about those meals while schools are closed down.

When the coronavirus hit and families that depended on school meals were affected the U.S Department of Agriculture came to Baylor to take the program nationally.

Overnight a program only used in Texas became an official program and called it Emergency Meals-to-You. This program has partnered with the USDA, PepsiCo and Mclain Global. This new partnership has helped deliver one million meals per week to students in rural areas.
